the advantage of the Monkey: it has tubeless tires which is not the case on my Thruxton R
so what did I do yesterday afternoon with my little monkey? I went to buy a inner tube.

When buying the inner tube, I also bought a cable for my optimate charger.
I used small cable clips to fix it correctly and also a rubber cable clamp found on my triumph

The dealer where I bought my Grom was kind enough to install one of those charger cables.

Where did you get those awesome cable clips?

    Hello,

they come from Triumph. they are on my 765 RS & my Thruxton to hold the brake hose and the ABS cable (on RS) & the electric cable !on Thruxton). it's very useful, more aesthetic than tape or electrician collar.
Go to a Triumph dealer and they'll give you that....
my dealer would certainly have equipped the bike with this charger cables but I forgot to ask him; as I had one more in the garage, I mounted it myself. I have several motorcycles and it is very functional during winter storage periods

    something to plug the hole.
the most difficult: finding an outside diameter neither too big nor too small to hide the hole.

    I found these.
I had to file a little to reduce the diameter of the lamella.
but finally, for 4 euros the 4 pieces ..I feel rich.

Added the G Craft spools and put it on the HF stand. I mean it gives you just enough room for the rear tire to be off the ground. Awesome for the price and use. At least it gave me something to do today. haven’t installed my euro lights yet. First time I’ve touched it since the small bore fest.

Nice to see that combo in action. I got the same stand, and I’m just waiting for the spools to show up.

You do good work. I am an A&P mechanic/Service Engineer by my profession. I like seeing aircraft type work, everything secured and neat. We also have the same taste in machinery. Though, as smitten by the Thruxton as I am I am also wanting a Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer to go with my Yamaha MT-07 and Triumph 675R. My wife may want a new husband, in fact, I am quite sure I am up for trade.
