Well riding today my Finbro 183 it was having problems in HP and going WOT same as with my BrianS 170 groms and during the winter time both groms ran fine and had a lot of pull in all gears.I checked the Fuel table settings using the Dynojet apps for the PCV and noticed that both groms trim and Fuel settings looked ok. I noticed in 4th gear the grom would stutter and bog down.
My fix was to clear trim, clear adjusted fuel table and use the basic map with all other other fuel table and trims at Zero's and I rode around and noticed wow feels like a new BBK kit again with lots of HP and pull in all four gears.
So I think with the change in the season, air density and warmer weather the PCV-WB02 adjusted fuel setting might not work if all the adjustments and trims where made during the winter time on your PCV.I also did a ECM initialization and TP reset.
It's worth a try for grom owners out there who are having similar problem
i would say that this is a product of poor mapping on the ecu (with the pcv being a little at fault). The ecu still uses the IAT to pick the right map (or maybe its just a trim it selects), its just that it was selecting a different base map for the pcv to tune off of.
I didnt notice much of an issue on mine going from 10s-20s up to the 50s when i rode last (well, before putting the new engine on).
I wish I understood the tuning aspect better. I have a PCV with the full system and intake map. Wish I understood the tinkering aspect in the tune. I just did the header, reset the ecu and re-sent the map. Bike is def running stronger. Thats an interesting tidbit on climate changes affecting the performance
but yeah, from 100f to 30f the density of the air varies by 10%. sure its colder so it needs more fuel to increase its vaporization chances, but its also more air (total mass, not volume).
Sure, youre going to use more fuel to heat rather than power, but thats just extra fuel being burnt. and with that extra air, who knows... you might be making a tit bit more of hp.
Did my BrianS 170 grom today and yes I noticed a change in the HP and the get up and go when I did a ECM int, TP reset and also clear trims and fuel table set to zero using my base map that I made.
The only other thing that I can think off is that in Calif we have two different blend of gas that is sold here, one blend for the winter time and a change in blend for the spring/summer time and maybe that could have also affected my groms performance.

It's kind of sad that a $600 setup can't account for this, especially in a place like San Jose where the avg winter temperature is 51° and it's currently 71°. I see more of a temperature variance going up and down mountains.
Where's that one thread with people whining about proper tuning setups? Get what you pay for only buy the best rable rable.
should be pretty much instant if it properly accounted for the air intake temp sensor! Not hard to have the calculations of air density based on IAT sensor and adjusting the map.
today temp in San Jose 44F this morning when last week avg temp was 65-75F. Our winter this year was avg 38-44F plus my air input system looks like this so forced cold air into the throttle body
I like when others on this board state well better Fuel manage system will not cause these problems I say sometimes systems fail or bad maps or just things happens with variables such as air temp and such.

I see those temperature fluctuations daily. 45F on the way into work, 75F on the way home.
I don't hate the PCV, I use one on my other bike. I don't think this is a PCV problem either, as I'd have to be doing this every commute. Likely as already stated, probably would have went away after a few miles of riding.
wtf? MINE adjusts fine inside of a few mins. even when I go to the mts. was auto tune turned on? we see swings here from low 40's to mid 70's this time of year, no prob
