Five Things To Love About The Honda CBR500R

If your dreams include parking a brand new Honda RC213V-S or CBR1000RR SP in the garage someday but not just now, itís nice to know a little of that Championship-winning Honda sportbike DNA is easier to spot than ever in the 2017 CBR500R, and parking one of them in your garage is doable right now. The CBR500R has quite a few things going on for it that bigger sportbikes just canít match: The ability to travel more than 58 miles on a gallon (25 kilometers on a liter) of fuel is one of them, and greatly reduced maintenance in an incredibly user-friendly package that weighs just 421 lbs. (191.9 Kg). is another. You sit in a semi-racy crouch on this one, in a comfortably aerodynamic swagger that encourages you to ride, sporty as you want, every day Ė sometimes all day.

My co-worker took today off because he's buying a CB500F today, which is pretty much the same bike minus the fairing.

The bikes we rented in Thailand were 500X. Perfect bike for our 200 plus mile days. Perfect for everything. Very comfortable and light handling. I used to have an NC700X. If I could only have one bike for everything it would be a 500X.
But would do a brake upgrade. I image they only last a couple of trips in the highlands of Thailand. Hah!

I'm sure cost has a lot to do with it. These aren't top tier bikes, so they don't get top tier parts.
