Yeesh. Put some weather stripping under that thing. What a gap.

All of the seats I looked at on the old style Grom had the strap depression too. They didn't have the mount though, so it just seemed lazy. Very annoying.

So you post a pic and leave us hanging.....how's it feel over the stock seat? Much more comfy, you happy? It looks really nice I'll say, I want this exact seat for my 17 Grom

It's flatter with much less padding, that being said I think it is more comfortable, i still find myself sitting forward of where the hump is, and the seat feels firmer where the hump goes up, so it gently holds you forward but you can now easily slide back if you want to.

I think if I was part of a team designing a new seat I would have changed the plastic profile underneath more so it felt less like the hump was still there.

I'm going to just take the staples out near that spot and let the material down till it's level with the rest and then staple it back up again.

They could have just done that in the factory, but they pulled it all tight around at point. I could probably unstaple that part and put something in there if need be.

It was a $45 seat at the end of the day so.. yeh.

$45? Well alright. Hard to complain.

Well it came today, its cheap, the base has rubber stoppers that are barely glued on, cover is not aligned at the front on mine, foams thin, good points it looks good if your not picky, its more comfy than the og seat, had a short ride and for me it still slopes to much making you sit nuts to tank but the ridge is gone and you can move back easier, but overall its decent for the price but i am getting mine recovered with some extra foam so its evened out and will had a quilted stitch pattern on top.
